Battlefields serve as both important memorials and vital resources for understanding and appreciating the past. In 2022, the American Revolution Institute launched a new tour series to explore our nation’s Revolutionary War battlefields. Each of our two-day battlefield tour experiences consists of a dinner and lecture given by a scholar on a subject related to the featured battlefields and is accompanied by an in-depth guided tour led by an expert.

The Battle of Guilford Courthouse
November 15-16, 2024
Greensboro, North Carolina
Join us on November 15-16, in Greensboro, N.C., as we explore the battle of Guilford Courthouse. This two-day experience will consist of a Friday evening dinner and lecture given by historian Dennis M. Conrad, editor of The Nathanael Greene Papers, followed by a day-long guided bus tour of Guilford Courthouse National Military Park, led by historian John R. Maass, Ph.D., on Saturday.
